Bournemouth University Students have an amazing Studio Union which used to be the town’s old Fire Station. This amazing building built in 1895 was taken over by the SUBU in the 1990s and has been home to many famous music acts in its integrated nightclub in the last few decades. 

We were excited to be given the brief of ‘create more energy and celebrate the rich music and buildings history’ across across 3 floors and staircases – that we did with a variety of hand painted graphics in the Pump Room and up the stairs leading the Loft Bar. We used a mix of freehand painting, vinyl, lightboxes and bespoke designed frames to do so.
