West Quay is a prominent shopping centre in the heart of Southampton and sees over 16 million visitors per year. As well as producing the event Multi-Stories we also created  a landmark 20M high mural that can be seen for miles around. This mural marked the start of the first Multi-Stories event in 2023 and created a strong place marker for the car park which would see over 80 artworks in the interior by the end of 2025. The external mural wrapped around 2 sides of the car park and was designed and painted by Ricky Also, Squirl and Bonzai to celebrate Southamptons rich maritime history as a gateway to the world. To further help signpost the car park help customers navigation we also created wayfinding murals on level 7 – the key location for access to the shopping centre, food and entertainment.
