We immersed ourselves into the rich, cultural history of India when researching the art style for the interior of Chit Chaat Chai. This amazing celebrated independent restaurant in Wandsworth, London serves Indian street food and cocktails, with their own unique twist! They were looking for mural artworks to bring their restaurant to life and reflect the passion, energy and vibrancy of their food and culture. We suggested an eclectic mix of images and references, which all helped to reflect the rich backdrop of the Indian streets. Layering up varying styles, incorporating texture from the crumbling plastering on the walls and ageing effects all helped to give the restaurant an authentic look and charm.
